The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports (https://bit.ly/1j1SSRt ) that no tenants in the building have been allowed a lease beyond 2020, leaving some concerned they will be forced to move.
General Growth Properties has made no announcements about its future plans for the building.
The Council Zoning Committee on Thursday approved a resolution asking the mayor’s administrator to initiate a bill that would insert language into the land use ordinance making health care services a priority in development plans being made in advance of the city’s rail project.
Tenants say keeping their offices in a transit hub is important so they can help more patients across Oahu.
